Scope detail
IP Communication
Uses discrete digital signals (0s and 1s) sent in data packets over a network using the internet or an Ethernet connection. Examples include IP phones and IP-based paging systems. More resistant to noise with coding and error correction; highly flexible and scalable for integration with other network-based platforms; can be more complex to set up and maintain than analog systems.

Analog Communication
Uses continuous analog signals, often represented by sine waves, over physical media such as traditional landline phones or radio broadcasting (AM/FM). Highly susceptible to noise and interference; difficult to scale and integrate; simpler hardware and lower cost for basic applications.
